The Valencian author has presented his latest publication in Sant Joan de Binissaida, in a setting that served, in part, as inspiration for his novel.

The gardens of Sant Joan de Binissaida have been the setting chosen by the author Jesús Terrés to present his novel Buscaba la belleza. Terrés, a client and friend from Sant Joan de Binissaida, has thus wanted to return a piece of that beauty that he is looking for in this book, published by the Destino publishing house.
Buscaba la belleza is a delicate novel with strong biographical roots that starts from two traumatic events in the author's life: the death of his father and the abortion of a son, separated by twenty years. An emotional journey in which Jesús Terrés raises issues such as non-paternity, mourning, love and the search for happiness in an uncertain world. From the son who will no longer be, Jesus makes peace with his past and distances himself from the mantra that has guided him since the death of his father: "forget to be happy", because he understands that suffering is part of existence and that there can be no beauty without pain. A novel that tries to dissect a generation of adults who wonder: was this living?
Despite having already been presented in public in various cities in Spain, Terrés wanted to dedicate a space also to Menorcan readers to present this latest work, which has been echoed by media such as La Vanguardia, Condés Nast Traveler, La voz de Galicia, Diario de León or RTVE.
