Don’t miss our astronomical event in August.
In August, a lunar eclipse will be held during the full moon on the 7th at 20:12 h. Those interested in astronomy or simply looking to enjoy an unusual romantic summer night cannot miss this date.
Lunar eclipses occur when the Earth gets in between the Sun and the Moon, creating a shadow that darkens the latter. For this astronomical event to happen, the moon must be in the full moon phase, as the moon, the Earth, and the Sun need to be exactly aligned for the Earth to block the sunlight reaching the Moon. When this happens, the sky is dark, and you can see small lights around the covered Moon. Eclipses usually last several hours, leaving the sky black.
To see the sky clearly, it is better to move away from the city lights and head to the countryside. If you have ever been to the rural hotel of Sant Joan de Binissaida, you will already know that we have plenty of space to enjoy this magnificent event.
Surely you would love to experience the lunar eclipse while enjoying a candlelit dinner coordinated by the Ses Forquilles team on our fabulous terrace. To conclude this astronomical evening, how about some drinks at our Pool-Bar? Or if you prefer more intimacy, take a leisurely stroll through our grounds.
Don't settle this summer, live new experiences! Make your reservation for the most romantic night in August.
Our restaurant hours are from Monday to Sunday, 1 PM to 3 PM and 8 PM to 11 PM.
