A Big Thank you! We thank you for an incredible season

After a very active summer, we say goodbye with the closing of the hotel until next year.

2017 has brought us many lovely visitors and a great number of events that leave us eager to start the next season, after a well-deserved vacation, of course.

The events of the year


Have you attended any dream event this year? We have! This season, more than a dozen couples have said "I do" at Binissaida, it has been a summer full of joys, dances, private banquets, and romantic dinners under the stars.

With the help of Anna Mir, our hotel has dressed up with all kinds of decorations to make each event a unique and special day.


A very Menorcan menu


The people who visited us this year have had the great pleasure of experiencing the new menu at La Finca, which offers unforgettable Menorcan cuisine.

This wonderful menu, designed by our colleagues at Ses Forquilles, features dishes created from products grown in the garden and yard of Binissaida, combined with seasonal local foods.

Traditional proposals like the dish "from Cala de San Esteban," a combination of sautéed squid with tender onion and sofrito, or classics like "from the Gallinero," an open Menorcan omelet, have been the star dishes of this season. For her part, the director of Binissaida, Roberta, recommends the dish "from the Stable," which consists of a delicious and tender roasted lamb, raised on the estate, accompanied by a fine potato cream. Umm... Can you ask for more?


Breaking records

Speaking of food, our garden has been busy this summer, providing us with a production of 1400 kilos of koroneiki olives in more than 500 varieties that Ses Forquilles have used to produce blend oil for the restaurant. Did you have the luck to try it?


Horseback riding

 

To close the season, we organized a horseback excursion with the Binissaida team to explore part of the island and ended the outing with a great group meal. It was a fun and original way to wrap up this chapter and say goodbye until next year.


And for next season...


We already have some events planned to keep us busy this winter, you know, to keep the tradition alive.

We can't share much, we can only tell you that some changes are being made on the estate to improve our guests' stays. You'll have to wait until next year to see them, because, you will come next year, right?

We follow the example of the newlyweds Gianni and Emma and say goodbye with a toast to celebrate such a special year.
