Aware of what Menorca contributes to us and the importance of preserving the natural and rural environment, we invest in sustainable tourism practices, regenerative agriculture, and ethnological recovery that make Sant Joan de Binissaida an ecological project.

Estate Regeneration

In the 12 hectares of land at Sant Joan de Binissaida, around 1,500 olive trees have been planted, cared for using permaculture techniques applied across the entire estate. From this plantation, we obtain the organic olive oil of Sant Joan de Binissaida, which we produce in our own olive press, installed in 2021.

The sustainable and regenerative practices we implement have earned us the ecological certification from the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands, a recognition that reinforces our commitment to the recovery of the agricultural environment.

We recover the oil

Within the agricultural project for the recovery of the estate and olive trees, we have set out to promote the culture of olive oil, so deeply rooted in the Mediterranean. For this reason, in addition to restoring the plantation, we have initiated an educational project explaining the process from planting a tree until we taste the oil.

Thus, in addition to selling our oil, which you can acquire on the estate itself, you have the possibility to book a guided tour, where we will explain the entire production process. And, as olive tree plantations increase on our estate, we also have the olive press open to all those producers seeking modern facilities to turn their harvest into quality oil.
