The estate of Sant Joan de Binissaida, now transformed into tourist accommodation, offers high-level agrotourism services, adding the ECO component. What does this mean?

  • We have a photovoltaic power plant that produces electrical energy.
  • The lights indicating the outdoor paths are powered by solar energy.
  • The new bathrooms are equipped with a control and water-saving system.
  • In 2017, a green filter was created following the guidelines of GOB, a non-profit ecological association in the Balearic Islands, which reuses rejected water for irrigation on the estate.
  • The main house has a photovoltaic boiler installation for hot water production.
  • We promote recycling by providing guests with containers for paper, plastic, and glass.

Additionally, since September 2022, our establishment has the Biosphere Reserve seal, a sustainability distinction that highlights the products and services of the island that operate following criteria for the protection of the surrounding environment, the identity, and the culture of Menorca.
